On March 3rd, Emily Bell gave a talk as part of the journalism seminars that Samara co-hosts with Massey College. Her talk created quite a bit of buzz; in fact, the event was trending nationally on Twitter. Here are a few stories that ran--appropriately enough--in the online media.
- Check here for an excellent rundown of Emily Bell's seminar from Dana Lacey at J-Source.
- Mathew Ingram at GigaOM writes about what it means to be "of the web, not just on the web."
- And for a brief but engaging discussion, check Ron Nurwisah's "Five things I learnt from Emily Bell"
Emily Bell was also interviewed by Jian Ghomeshi on CBC Radio's Q. Click here to listen.
If you'd like to watch the seminar for yourself, CPAC has it available for streaming here. An archive of the liveblog of the event is also available here.
