Policy debates R us

I'm a big fan of the Munk Debates both because they bring great, and often famous, debaters to a public podium, and also because they work hard to use technology to make the debates accessible across the country and around the world.

Tomorrow, Monday June 7, is the next installment, where the resolution is "I would rather get sick in in the United States than in Canada." The debate pits U.S. Senator William Frist and Dr. David Gratzer on the pro side against former Governor Howard Dean and UHN CEO Dr. Robert Bell.

For those of you without a ticket, the event will be streamed live here, free of charge.  The event starts at 7pm EST.

On their site, you can also get the low-down on past debates (it's hard to say, but I think this one was my favourite),and watch a little policy head-to-head on issues related to the debate topics.
