While spending the summer in Toronto, UBC journalism professor Alfred Hermida camped out at the Samara offices during the day, thinking big thoughts about the future of journalism. Happily, the paper he penned while with us, which was on Twitter and its implications for journalism, was accepted for publication.
Although Journalism Practice won't publish the piece until August 2010, you can read a synopsis of the article on Alf's website, as well as the presentation he made on his research at the Future of Journalism conference in Cardiff, Wales.
A most welcome office-mate and a productive one too! Congratulations! Please come back again soon.
